The mission of the xAble Sports Foundation is to empower and enable individuals with disabilities by promoting and supporting the growth of adaptive sports worldwide. The xAble Sports Foundation will initially give preference to power wheelchair athletes, as they are the newest entrants to the adaptive sports community, however it will support all disabled athletes as funds are available.


As part of its annual focus, the xAble Sports Foundation will support and develop a competition level (Division 1) power wheelchair soccer team in the Tampa Bay area. The Tampa Bay Crossfire has weekly practice at the Countryside Recreation Center and will play monthly games versus other local and regional power soccer programs. This team will also perform community outreach clinics in nearby Gulf Coast and Florida cities to support the formation of new power soccer programs around the state.
