About Us

Mission
The mission of the xAble Sports Foundation is to empower and enable individuals with disabilities by promoting and supporting the growth of adaptive sports worldwide. The xAble Sports Foundation will initially give preference to power wheelchair athletes, as they are the newest entrants to the adaptive sports community, however it will support all disabled athletes as funds are available.

Elio has helped create and/or grow dozens of teams across the country through instructional clinics, guidance, and promotion of competitive power soccer. He is recognized nationally and internationally for his expertise in not only playing the sport, but also teaching it. He currently holds or has held the following power soccer-related positions/titles:
- Co-Founder of the xAble Sports Foundation, Inc.
- Member of the 2007 Power Soccer U.S. National Team
- USPSA East Coast Regional Director (2007-2009)
- Founder of the Tampa Thunder Power Soccer Team (2004)

Justin has been instrumental in promoting the sport of power soccer within the state of Indiana and within the Spinal Cord Injury community. Working with Power Soccer of Indy, he helped recruit dozens of new players and created a team in 2004 in Indianapolis that eventually became the USPSA National Champions (The Circle City Rollers). After moving to Florida in 2006, he expanded his efforts further and laid down plans to grow the sport of Power Soccer throughout the Southeast Region. He sees the xAble Sports Foundation as an organization that matches his vision of empowering persons with disabilities to become athletes and express their competitive spirit.

Jessica has worked with her husband, Elio Navarro, to grow and promote the sport of Power Soccer since 2004. She was the Team Manager for the Tampa Thunder team, handling all of the logistics of traveling to tournaments and scheduling games. Jessica is now the Manager for the 2007 U.S. National Team, which will compete in the Power Soccer World Cup in Tokyo, Japan (October 2007). She has led several instructional clinics across the state of Florida and the Southeastern U.S. and is a USPSA-certified referee. Through her involvement with the xAble Sports Foundation, Jessica plans on further expanding the sport of Power Soccer and continue inspiring persons with disabilities to reach new heights through the competition and challenge of adaptive sports.
